Boat & Watercraft Insurance
Hull, liability, trailer and on-water towing for boats, sailboats and personal watercraft.
Galveston Bay, Clear Lake, or wherever you actually run
Homeowners insurance covers a boat only in a limited way: typically small craft with low horsepower, and usually only while it's sitting on your property. Anything bigger, or anything that actually goes in the water regularly, needs its own policy. Boat policies define a navigational territory, and we set it to match where you really run the boat, whether that's Clear Lake on a weekend, Galveston Bay, or further offshore. Get that wrong and a real claim can go unpaid over a technicality that had nothing to do with what actually happened.
The trailer isn't automatically covered like you'd think
Auto liability extends to a trailer while it's being towed behind your vehicle, which covers you if the trailer causes an accident on the road. But damage to the trailer itself, whether from a wreck, theft, or just wear from ramp use, usually needs to be scheduled separately on the boat policy rather than assumed under your car insurance. Hull, liability, trailer and on-water towing, quoted together so nothing between the truck and the dock gets left out.
